Proactive Partnership: Your AV Department, Extended
Projects
Following an extended period of consulting to AIFS, working closely with the internal team and gaining a deep understanding of their requirements, We were engaged for the design, development and migration of the main AIFS website and numerous sub-sites, onto the Wordpress platform.

Solution
We architected and deployed a university-wide AV standardization framework—a pre-configured, networked technology stack built on open standards. To manage the extensive documentation, client portals, and knowledge base for this vast project, we implemented a custom WordPress multisite network. This CMS acts as the central hub for all project specifications, user guides, and support tickets. Using custom post types for ‘Room Systems’ and ‘Equipment’ and a structured tagging system (e.g., #crestron, #q-sys, #dante-audio, #lecture-capture), the university’s AV team can now intuitively manage and retrieve information. We provided comprehensive administrator training, empowering them to update system profiles, publish service alerts, and manage user-access roles across the network of department-specific subsites directly from the WordPress dashboard.

The Results
The new, unified AV and digital content network was successfully launched. The standardized hardware framework, paired with the intuitive WordPress management portal, is now implemented across over 150 rooms. The taxonomy and tagging system within WordPress allows for instant filtering of documentation by technology type, building, or support status, dramatically reducing information retrieval time. The institution now possesses a scalable, manageable, and highly reliable AV ecosystem supported by a powerful, self-sufficient content management strategy, all hosted on a secure, high-availability platform.
